Jiangyin Ruihesheng Paper Products Co., Ltd. has produced food-grade paper packaging in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province since 2004. Within the PAPER BOWL AND CUP manufacturer range we build round paper bowls, liquid paper buckets, noodle bowls, square-format bowls and octagonal bowls, together with the paper and plastic lids that close them.
The range is aimed at quick-service restaurants, catering kitchens, convenience retail, delivery operators and private-label brands that need a container to hold hot soup, noodles, rice, salad, dessert or a chilled drink without losing shape, softening at the seam or leaking through the wall.
What We Manufacture in This Product Family
Our factory runs dedicated forming, printing and gluing lines for paper tableware rather than treating bowls as a by-product of box production. Bowl bodies are cut, formed, printed and assembled on the same site, which keeps wall thickness, rim curl and coating coverage consistent between production runs.
- Round paper bowls in a continuous size ladder from small condiment formats to tall 1000 ml noodle and soup bowls.
- Liquid paper buckets with a wide opening and a leak-resistant coating for soups, stews, fried portions and chilled drinks.
- Shaped bowls — octagonal and square formats for salad, dessert, snack and premium presentation lines.
- Closures — paper lids, plastic lids and paper box covers sized to the bowl rim.

Board, Barrier and Food-Contact Considerations
Bowl performance is decided by the board and the barrier, not by the print. We work with FSC certified paperboard and post-consumer recycled pulp, and can supply plastic-free constructions that avoid PE and PLA linings in favour of an algae-based barrier coating. Plant-based and water-based inks are used where the artwork and the destination market allow.
For hot and oily dishes the deciding variables are coating coverage at the sidewall seam and the curl of the rim. For chilled or frozen lines the board grade and the lid fit matter more, because condensation softens the rim before the wall fails.
- Waterproof and oil-proof grades for soup, curry and fried items.
- High compressive strength board for stacked delivery bags.
- Recyclable and industrially compostable constructions for markets with organic-waste collection.
Critical Specifications We Confirm Before Production
A bowl is a stackable, nestable, leak-tested object, so the drawing has to fix the geometry that the filling line and the lid both depend on. We confirm these points on the sample and carry them into the production specification.
- Top rim diameter, base diameter and overall height.
- Nominal capacity against usable fill volume, including headspace for soup expansion.
- Board grammage and barrier type, matched to serving temperature.
- Rim curl geometry and lid engagement tolerance.
- Nesting pitch and sleeve or carton count for the filling line.
- Print registration position and colour reference.
Capacity, Tooling and Production Flow
Our site covers 15,000 m² of standardised workshops on more than 30 mu of land, with over 100 automatic machines and an annual output in the billions of pieces. Flexographic and UV printers, auto-gluing, die-cutting and hot stamping lines run alongside the bowl and cup lines, so high-volume and customised work share the same process discipline.
- Raw material procurement — pulp, laminating materials and ink.
- Incoming inspection against production standards.
- Paper cutting to the required blank size.
- Die-cutting and forming of the basic structure.
- Flexographic or UV printing of artwork and text.
- Die-cutting and moulding into the finished shape.
- Gluing, folding and assembly into the finished bowl or container.
- Finished-goods inspection of dimensions, strength and print quality.
- Packing and preparation for shipment.
- Warehousing, order allocation and logistics.
Printing, Branding and Configuration Options
Bowl decoration is handled as part of the same OEM/ODM service as the structure. We support single-sided and double-sided printing, spot-colour and four-colour work, water-based inks, hot stamping, partial UV, embossing and laminating. Structural design, rendering and sampling are carried out before tooling is committed.
Where a brand needs a closure that matches the bowl, we size the PAPER LID to the same rim drawing, and can pair the bowl with a plastic lid or a paper box cover where the application calls for it.
Quality Control and Acceptance
Quality control follows a documented sequence from incoming material to finished pallet, with procedural controls that keep batches traceable. Finished bowls are checked for dimensions, compression strength and print quality before packing, and the same checks are repeated on the retained sample when a repeat order is scheduled.
- ISO9001 and ISO22000 management systems, with FSC, BRC and SGS certification.
- Additional accreditations including SABER, SYDEX, IAF and CNAS.
- Batch-level traceability from raw material lot to shipping carton.
- Pre-shipment inspection against the approved sample and drawing.
Information We Use to Configure Your Solution
Our proposal is built on the working point, the material and the production target. The inputs below are what we need to select a bowl, a barrier and a tooling route rather than guess at them.
| Project input | What we confirm from it |
|---|---|
| Dish type and serving temperature | Board grade, barrier coating, plastic-free or lined construction |
| Fill volume and headspace | Diameter, height, usable capacity and rim geometry |
| Rim diameter and closure preference | Lid tooling selection and engagement tolerance |
| Annual volume and call-off pattern | Tooling allocation, printing method and packing format |
| Artwork and brand requirements | Plate or cylinder preparation, colour matching and sampling schedule |
| Destination market and compliance needs | Documentation set, food-contact declarations and FSC chain-of-custody references |
| Packing and pallet specification | Carton count, sleeve or polybag, pallet pattern and container loading |
Documentation, Packing and Delivery Scope
Approved samples, drawings and print references are held against each order so that repeat production matches the first shipment. Bowls are nested and packed in cartons or sleeves sized for the filling line, then palletised for container loading. Products from our Wuxi site are shipped to the USA, France, Sweden, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and other markets.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which bowl sizes can we order?
The round GENERAL PAPER BOWL ladder runs from 260 ml through 300, 360, 450, 500, 600, 650, 750, 850 and 960 ml up to a 998/1000 ml tall noodle and soup bowl. Octagonal bowls are available at 300, 400, 500, 650, 750 and 1000 ml, and liquid paper buckets at 5 oz and 12 oz.
Can the bowls be supplied without a plastic coating?
Yes. We offer plastic-free constructions using FSC certified paperboard and post-consumer recycled pulp with an algae-based barrier instead of PE or PLA, printed with plant-based or water-based ink. The barrier choice is matched to the serving temperature and fat content of the dish.
Do you supply lids that fit your bowls?
We produce paper lids, plastic lids and paper box covers sized to the same rim drawing as the bowl, so the closure and the container are developed together rather than sourced separately. Lid fit is checked on the approved sample before tooling is released.
What printing methods do you use for branded bowls?
Flexographic and UV printing are both available, with single-sided or double-sided decoration, spot-colour or four-colour work, and finishing options including hot stamping, partial UV, embossing and laminating. Structural design, rendering and sampling are provided as part of our OEM/ODM service.
What do you need from us to quote a custom bowl?
Send the dish type and serving temperature, the fill volume, the rim diameter and preferred closure, the annual volume and call-off pattern, the artwork, the destination market and the packing specification. With those inputs we can select the board and barrier, propose a bowl and lid combination, and prepare a quotation with a sampling schedule.
How is quality checked before shipment?
Incoming raw materials are inspected against production standards, finished bowls are checked for dimensions, strength and print quality, and the packed goods are inspected against the approved sample before dispatch. Our systems are certified to ISO9001 and ISO22000, with FSC, BRC, SGS, SABER, SYDEX, IAF and CNAS accreditation.
